Sena Alexander Bampoe
Sena Alexander Bampoe (“Senatues”) is ready for his moment. He has faced his fair share of challenges, and each set back has been fuel for his artistic journey.
Senatues was born and raised in some of Accra’s toughest neighborhoods. For him, art has been a shelter, and an escape. At an early age, Senatues’ mother noticed his artistic abilities and sought to nurture them. She placed him in a choir, and encouraged the development of his musical talents. He continued singing throughout his elementary school days, but discovered that he had a talent for visual art.
After high school, Senatues entered Ghanatta College of Art and Design. Senatues graduated, but then took a hiatus from art due to certain life circumstances. His break didn’t last long. He returned in 2018, and after several concerted months of focus began a new chapter as a full time painter. Today Senatues is one of Ghana’s most promising young artists.
